Original choreography created for LCB by Cathy Marston, Ballet Shoes is based on the classic novel by Noel Streatfeild. It tells the story of three orphans, Pauline, Petrova and Posy, who vow to be famous. They are invited to join Madame Fidolia’s Academy of Performing Arts. Life at the academy is full of ups and downs and we see the different paths the children take. As the sisters grow up, each is pulled to follow their heart, learning valuable life lessons along the way.
